What Cricket Means To Me Featured on Test Match Special

We were absolutely delighted that What Cricket Means To Me was featured on BBC Test Match Special during the tea interval on the opening day of the final Test at Trent Bridge.
Gill was interviewed by Dan Norcross, reflecting on her Women's World Cup experiences as England and Wales host this year's tournament. She spoke about how much the women's game has changed over the years – from having to pay to play and sharing buses to matches, to the professional game we see today.
The conversation also turned to What Cricket Means To Me, with Gill explaining how she and Neil Brinsdon were inspired to create the book to raise funds for the Cricketers' Trust. She talked about the many inspiring people they met during the project and how the stories all share common themes of friendship, belonging and community – something the cricket family does so well.
