What Cricket Means To Me Books Raise More Than £10,500

The What Cricket Means To Me and What Yorkshire Cricket Means To Me books have now raised more than £10,500 for the Cricketers' Trust and the Yorkshire Players' Association.

The books have received fantastic support from the cricket community, with copies sold across the UK and internationally. Featuring the stories of almost 100 people from every level of the game, the books celebrate the friendships, community and lifelong impact of cricket.

Gill said this week: "Neil and I are incredibly grateful to everyone who has bought a book and supported the project. Reaching £10,500 so quickly is beyond anything we imagined, and we're proud that these stories are helping to support two wonderful cricket charities."

The fundraising success has also been made possible thanks to the generous support of NFU Mutual Vale of York, whose sponsorship of the printing costs means every penny from book sales goes directly to the two charities.

With more events planned throughout the season, the team hopes to continue building on this fantastic total.
