The What Cricket Means To Me team is heading to Trent Bridge on Thursday this week for what promises to be a fascinating and hard-fought deciding Test match.
With the series finely poised and all square, cricket fans are in for a treat over the next few days. The heatwave may well test the endurance of the players, but there's something else that's proving equally hot right now – What Cricket Means To Me books!
We'll be around the ground on the opening day of the Test handing out leaflets and spreading the word about the book that The Cricketer magazine recently described as "probably the most uplifting £18 you'll spend this year."
The book features contributions from a host of well-known cricketing names including former England players Angus Fraser and David Gower, broadcasters Jonathan "Aggers" Agnew and Daniel Norcross, and cricket statistician Andy Zaltzman, alongside a wonderful collection of stories from people across the wider cricketing community.
If you spot us at Trent Bridge, please come and say hello. If not, you can still support the project by visiting the Store page on this website and ordering your copy.
Every book sold helps us continue raising funds for our two charities while celebrating the people, memories and experiences that make cricket such a special game.
